AdvicePay’s mission is to expand the reach of personal financial planning advice to more consumers. Historically financial planning advice was only available to the affluent, who could afford to pay a financial advisor’s fees directly from their portfolios. AdvicePay enables financial advisors to shift their focus towards giving advice to people still building wealth, instead of only those who already have it, with the first and only way for financial planners to get paid in a compliant way on a subscription or one-time basis via ACH or credit cards.

About the Position
This is a full-time position for a service-obsessed financial planning pro with a talent for taking new materials and technology and teaching it to people in simple, smart, and engaging ways! As our Relationship Manager for all large Enterprise users on AdvicePay, you’ll be the friendly go-to contact for the leadership teams at each Enterprise: guiding them through the onboarding process as they begin to use AdvicePay, educating them on the fee-for-service model, hosting webinars for their advisors, and providing ongoing training and resources. You’ll also help our marketing, sales, customer support, and product teams at AdvicePay to develop blog posts, resources, and webinars that educate and empower our awesome advisor users.
What You’ll be Doing
Guide Enterprise leadership teams through the onboarding process as they begin to use AdvicePay
Own the Enterprise Onboarding Process and continue to develop and expand it
Host calls and webinars with Enterprise leadership teams and their advisors on topics including:
How to price your fee-for-service planning process?
How to explain the value of financial planning?
Which Enterprise settings elections should I make when setting up my AdvicePay account?
How to build workflows and implement fee-for-service financial planning into your large firm?
Work side-by-side with AdvicePay users to understand how they are using AdvicePay and what resources they need to be more successful
Work with sales and marketing to rock out various types of resources to turn prospects into active, happy customers
Provide content to our marketing department for blogs, freemium downloads, etc.
Write best practice articles for the blog in our “Your Practice, Your Success” series
Help develop a program to increase usage of AdvicePay within Enterprise contracts
Attend conferences with our sales team to promote AdvicePay and attend conferences and events hosted by our signed Enterprise users to help increase usage (10-12 events/year likely based on schedule)
Help map out cool workflows for integrations between AdvicePay and systems such as: Wealthbox, Zapier, Calendly, Orion, TDA, eMoney, MoneyGuidePro, etc.
Provide input on new and upcoming feature requests from the perspective of what firms want, need, and would find most valuable and intuitive
What You’ll Bring to The Table
Expertise on how AdvicePay works and how advisors can implement it in their firms to facilitate fee-for service billing (...you’ll become such an expert, you may even have dreams about it!)
Experience in operations in a financial planning firm and/or with a broker/dealer
Experience as a financial planner serving clients
Passion for bringing fee-for-service financial planning to consumers
Desire to educate advisors on implementing a new service model
Ability to think on your feet and be creative in helping advisors craft solutions for problems they face
Organization and attention to detail in managing relationships
A harmonious work ethic and a high sense of personal responsibility and integrity
Your empathetic, patient self -- with a smile so big they can feel it through your emails!
Strong tech savvy and the ability to pick up new technology quickly
